I think this is my favourite of the three. Flickr desaturates it somewhat. See facebook for the proper colours, see here for the proper quality. :P

The result of yesterday’s shoot. More are being edited and uploaded today. I am so proud of this shoot. It had very little in the way of planning and all I told d.s in the way of styling was something vaguely Victorian and fantasy-like. She really did deliver. The beautiful part is that all of these clothes come from her own wardrobe - she owns this stuff. She seems to have a knack of finding the most beautiful clothes. I wish I owned clothes like that.
I don’t think, right now, there is anything I love more than photography. I love to write and sing and draw and I do all three of them just as much as I photograph, I love each of them in turn but there’s something about taking a photo of something real - something that is really there and happening before your eyes - and having it seem so fantastical, so fictional that it’s hard for even you to believe that it really was what you were seeing. I love sharing that with the world.
When I bought my first DSLR in the summer of 2008, I didn’t think it would get this far. I didn’t think I would be able to do what I do now. I had looked at pictures and wished I’d known how it was done and that I could do it myself but I couldn’t. Now it’s strange to say that I probably can. Sometimes things will go wrong, things do go wrong, and I will learn from it but I know now that I can.
That is a beautiful thing.
I have so much that I am thankful for, photography is one of those things.

So, I did a meme.

If you like my photography please like my page on facebook. :) It would be much appreaciated.
